One thing I love is watching a seasonal trend piece become a wardrobe staple. Evolution come through, and it has been said and done countless times. The off shoulder top is particular, and it continue to empower your silhouette and be relevant in 2016.

No doubt this top is my favorite, as well as those cropped flare pants. You gotta to know when the real deal is real, and when a 70s silhouette is required to be known all across the fashion crowd. Anyway, let me tell you a story. As a believer in staples, components of a must have wardrobe, as long as those pieces have all a different shape to offer, I would gladly be a volunteer on this road trip. I’ve been on the hunt for such a staple for way long, and it’s not fault of trying. The search is finally over due to H&M, and my minimalist/ staples hunter soul is praising the brand.

As for how to wear the top everyone is buying right now, read on.

  1. Big and bold. The off shoulder top, and trend, is for anyone who want to show it off. Pick the off shoulder top/ dress fitting your style, up with some details that will emphasize your silhouette. Eye catching and well-cut is the key. Ruffles and batwing sleeves that would accentuate your neckline is ideal.
  2. Airy and flowy. A misconception wants that you’re a curated and impressive woman as long as your wardrobe follows. It’s not true. Pining style to find your uniqueness is mostly about how you feel and what you like. But, keep in mind that as always, fabric matters. Now that S u m m e r hits us in Europe, go for airy and flowy fabric.
  3. Wear it low. The off shoulder trend requires a huge amount of confidence, and it gives you some empowerment no matter how you embodies it. It’s bold, sexy and it catches the eye. Baring your shoulder is a great look and it’s a great way to pack up that sexy vibe of yours. Pair it with ripped jeans, or with culottes. Black is always the one. Since it’s black, I feel I can push boundaries.
